Assigning SIMs to Customers
What role/s can do this? Partner admin, Partner provisioning, Partner deployment of Customers & Partner support.
All SIMs will be loaded into your Partner portal where you can then assign them to the relevant Customer. You can view SIMs that have been assigned to a specific Customer by either filtering the SIM overview area or by navigating to the specific Customer and viewing the SIMs in their Customer information.
Note: A Customer Service should have been created previously. See Creating Customer Services. |
Assign SIMs #
- Navigate to SIM overview
- In the Action dropdown, select Assign/Unassign to Customer
- Click Execute
- Select the Customer
- Select the Customer Service to assign to the SIM
- To schedule when the SIM is assigned, change the distribution date
- Select the relevant SIM/s
- Click Execute
The SIM/s will be assigned to the Customer.
Note: You can filter SIMs to generate a specific list of SIMs. You can then select some or all SIMs to perform actions on. |
Unassign SIMs #
- Navigate to SIM overview
- In the Action dropdown, select Assign to Customer
- Click Execute
- Change the action to Unassign
- Select the relevant SIM/s
- Click Execute
The SIM/s will be unassigned.

Once you have assigned all the relevant SIMs to your customers, the final step is to activate SIMs, ensuring they are ready for customers to use in the Customer Portal.
