Manage SIM Info Fields
What role/s can do this? Partner admin, Partner provisioning, Partner deployment of customers & Partner support.
Info Fields are used to add additional information to SIMs to help make them easier to identify. There are 4 info fields that can be used to store information.
When updating the fields you can either edit individual SIM info fields or you can edit multiple info fields at the same time using a file.
Change Info Fields #
- Navigate to SIM overview
- In the Action dropdown select Change Info Fields
- Click Execute
- Select the Info field you want to change
- Enter the required information into the input field
- Select the relevant SIM/s
- Click Execute
The info field is updated.
Change Info Fields from file #
- Navigate to SIM overview
- In the Action dropdown select Change Info Fields from file
- Click Execute
- Choose the relevant file
- Click Execute
The info fields is updated for the SIMs in the file.
Configuring the Info Fields file: #
When changing the info fields from file you need to ensure the file is correctly formatted. The file must contain 5 columns: ICCID, INFO_FIELD1, INFO_FIELD2, INFO_FIELD3, INFO_FIELD4, INFO_FIELD5. You can download an template file from within the product which uses the following structure:
