Add a new Customer
What role/s can do this? Partner admin & Partner provisioning.
You can create and manage your customers in the Customer area. Once you create a new customer, you can then assign customer-specific services and SIMs to their IoT devices.
Add a new Customer #
- Navigate to Customers
- Select the New Customer tab
- Enter the customer’s information
- If required, add contact information and addresses
- To set different delivery or invoicing addresses, select the Delivery address is different and/or Invoicing address is different checkboxes.
- Click Create customer
The new customer will display in the Customer area.
Customer short name #
When you enter the customer information, you can add a short name. If this is left blank, the portal generates a short name from the customer name upon creation. It is advised that you use this short name as a prefix when you create customer services. See Service naming convention.
