Create a Partner user
What role/s can do this? Partner Admin, Partner Provisioning.
Partners with the relevant role are able to create additional partner users. These users will access the partner portal and depending on their role have access to a range of features to suit their needs.
When a new user is created and activated they will receive an email with a link to their portal, username and a temporary password.
Partner Roles #
There are 6 partner roles which cover various partner management options. See Roles Introduction for more information.
If you are creating a partner who will be creating users/admins and assigning roles you will need to make sure the required roles are first assigned to the partner in charge of user creation. Partners are only able to assign roles that have first been assigned to them.
Create a Partner user #
New users can be created in the Users area or you can navigate to Partners and follow this process from the users tab.
- Navigate to Users
- Click New User
- Enter the Username, First Name and Last Name
- Select the relevant role/s
- To activate the user enable the checkbox next to Activate User
- Review the Password requirements
- Enter the users primary email
- Select the dashboard/s you want to assign to the user
- Select the context/s you want to assign to the user
- Click Create New User
The new user displays in the table.
