Migrating SIMs to another Partner Service
When you order SIMs, they are associated with a Holding Service which is a service that determines which network operator the SIM is ordered from. It is recommended that you migrate the Holding Service to another Partner Service once the order is processed to ensure you are billed an appropriate tariff that is more cost effective.
It is advised that you change the Holding Service to another Partner Service before assigning SIMs to Customers.
Note: Partner Services are made available by your service provider. |
Migrate SIM to another Partner Service #
- Navigate to SIM overview
- In the Action dropdown select Migrate SIM to another Partner service
- Click Execute
- Select the relevant Partner Service from the dropdown
- Select the relevant SIMs
- Click Execute
The SIMs will be migrated to the new Partner Service. This change may take a few minutes to apply.
Note: You can filter SIMs to generate a specific list of SIMs. You can then select some or all SIMs to perform actions on. |
Warning: It’s only possible to migrate the Holding Service to another Partner Service. Once the change has been applied, you will be unable to migrate the new Partner Service to another Partner Service. |
Next Step #
Once services have been created and migrated the Holding Service of the SIMs to another Partner Service, partners with the relevant role will be able to assign SIMs to Customers and associate the SIMs with a Customer Service.
